Soprano Diana Pray joins Volti for fall 2011 following chamber performances of Philip Glass’s Train 1 with sfSound and Stravinsky’s  Les noces with Dominique Leone. Specializing in early, Baroque, and modern music, Diana made her Redwood Symphony debut in Steve Reich’s Tehillim and appeared as the soprano Angel in Schutz’s Weinachtshistorie with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra.  She cantors at St. Ignatius Church and has made her choral career with groups including American Bach Soloists, SF Opera, and SF Renaissance Voices. Featured in many San Francisco special events, Diana has sung at the York Hotel Plush Room, the Julia Morgan Ballroom, and the Asian Art Museum. Recently she has delved into her Hungarian heritage, joining the concerts of instrument maker and ethnomusicologist Ferenc Tobák.
