Lindsey McLennan, soprano, is in her third season with Volti. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2008 with Bachelor’s degrees in Vocal Arts and Neuroscience. At USC, she performed regularly with the USC Chamber Choir and Recital Choir under the direction of Paul Salamunovich and William Dehning. Since moving back to the Bay Area, Lindsey has been an active performer and teacher, with her own voice studio based in San Mateo. This season, she will be singing in Volti, the Philharmonia Baroque Chorale, the Marin Symphony Chorus, Vajra Voices (a new ensemble specializing in the music of Hildegard von Bingen), and the Monteverdi Consort. Lindsey recently made her operatic debut in Urban Opera’s production of The Witch of Endor by Henry Purcell.
