Sargent

Joseph Sargent holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and teaches music history and theory at the University of San Francisco. A scholar of Renaissance music by day, he indulges his new music interests at night by singing with Volti. He also sings at Grace Cathedral and has performed with AVE, Schola Cantorum San Francisco and Pacific Collegium, among other ensembles. A writer/editor as well as musician, he contributes to San Francisco Classical Voice and manages the communications department at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
